At Dig X Subsurface, we recognize and celebrate these exceptional individuals who dare to push boundaries, think outside the box, and lead the way for their peers as trailblazers driving the subsurface geoscience community into a digital future.

Criteria for nomination

A visionary thinker

Nominees should stand out as visionary in the digital subsurface domain, presenting groundbreaking and innovative perspectives while challenging traditional "silo-based" approaches within the subsurface community.

An interdisciplinary mindset

Demonstrating an interdisciplinary mindset, showcasing their ability to transfer knowledge across different fields.

Thinking outside the box

Draw inspirations from other domains (e.g health technology, as demonstrated by the previous winner) beyond their expertise.

Value creation and impact

The technology developed should already have demonstrated significant value or high impact or have the potential for significant value creation/impact in the future.
