About

The future of exploration will require increased coordination and collaboration between operators, license partners, and service providers. The conference will cover the entire exploration value chain, including seismic, CSEM, well studies and rock analysis, de-risking, data as an asset (data utilization – “old data” and new data types), in order to increase our understanding of the subsurface, resulting in increased efficiency and a reduced carbon footprint. We cover Near-field exploration and the Frontier.

For whom?

The conference is relevant for the exploration community working on and adjacent to the Norwegian Continental Shelf, including the ecosystem surrounding the exploration community.

Knowledge Transfer
The conference is also relevant for geoscientists working in emerging new industries, such as CCS,hydrogen, geothermal, deep-sea mining, and ocean wind, as the technologies discussed have relevance for these industries.

Why?

The constant need for improving the success ratio on the NCS requires continuous development of exploration technology and new ways of working.

Innovation, collaboration, coordination, inter-disciplinary data utilization, and advances in exploration technology are required for increased value creation, maintaining our competitive edge, and stepping towards lowering our carbon footprint.
